JRC visits Accurec
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission’s science and knowledge service and supports EU policies with scientific evidence throughout the policy cycle. Currently, JRC is intensively involved to investigate scientific background of battery recycling aspects, to make legislation feasible and at the same time stringent and ambitious.
4th October, involved members of JRC visited Accurec Li-Ion battery recycling facility to be informed about complete process chain of battery recycling. Practical problems in collection, sorting have been discussed openly. In addition to this, market aspects, potential future developments and scientific limits of recycling procedures were exchanged.
