Dr. Reiner Sojka
Managing director

Reiner has founded Accurec in 1996, being responsible as first and only employee for allocation of the facility, permitting and development of Accurec’s NiCd and NiMH vacuum distillation process. He has an academic degree in mechanical engineering and finalized his PhD in 2001 in metallurgy. In 2009 he took over 75% share of Accurec. Reiner has hold several representative positions at federal and european institutions, supporting public relations and legislative procedures in collection and recycling of batteries.

Dr. Albrecht Melber
Managing director

Albrecht joined Accurec in 2005, and took over 25% shares in 2009. Prior to this, he had been head of R&D for system engineering and process development at Degussa and later at ALD vacuum technologies where he started with recycling process design in the 90’s. Albrecht has an academic degree in mechanical engineering and was awarded a PhD in fluid mechanics.

 

We train Machine and Plant Operators (Maschinen- und Anlagenführer).

Subsidised by “Ausbildungsprogramm NRW”, a project focusing on the improvement of the job and training situation of young people with initial difficulties.

 

This programme includes individual support and supervision of the apprentice as well as exam preparation by a certified educational institution of the state.

We are also an approved apprenticeship employer for Industrial Management Assistant (Industriekauffrau/-mann).
