Reiner has founded Accurec in 1996, being responsible as first and only employee for allocation the facility, permitting and development of Accurec’s NiCd and NiMH vacuum distillation process. He has a university degree in mechanical engineering and finalized his PhD in 2001 in metallurgy. In 2009 he took over 75% share of Accurec. Reiner has hold several representative positions at federal and European institutions, supporting public relations and legislative procedures in collection and recycling of batteries.
Albrecht joined Accurec in 2005, and took over 25% shares in 2009. Prior to this, he had been head of R&D for system engineering and process development at Degussa and later ALD vacuum technologies where he started with recycling process design in the 90´tes. Albrecht has a university degree in mechanical engineering and made his PhD in fluid mechanics.
